How to cook rice
The method of cooking rice is very simple. There is no need to adjust the heat,
and it does not take much time.
With just a few simple steps, anyone can cook delicious rice without making mistakes.


Basic Cooking Method
(In the case of 2-cup cooking)
(1 cup is 150g180㏄)
1. Wash
Measure and place 2 cups(300g/360cc) of rice in a bowl and wash rice. After wash, drain water well.
Use stainless steel bowls and colanders。
2. Soak 30min.
Leave it at least 30 minutes to let the rice soak up the water(400cc).
Tips!
*Do not soak in water for more than 1 hour.
*Because the clay pot absorbs water, use stainless steel bowls.
3. Heating 13min.
Put a lid on the pot and cook it on medium heat until it is boiled.
When it’s boiled, turn into the low heat and leave it for about 3 minutes.Turn off the heat.
Tips!
*The key is boiling. The tip is to bring it to a powerful boil. If it looks like it is going to spill over, it is okay to open the lid.
*For 2 cups (300 g/360 cc), boil over medium-high heat for 10 minutes + 3 minutes over low heat,
For 5 cups (750g/900cc) [10 minutes over medium-high heat + 7 minutes over low heat],
Regardless of the amount of rice, bring to a boil in 10 minutes.
Adjust the heat according to the amount of rice.
4. steam 20 min.
Let it steam for about 20 minutes. (Leave the lid on!)

*The steaming time is important. Do not open the lid.
Open the lid. Mix it gently and it’s done.
