Misuzu’s Rice Cooker

This clay pot for cooking rice is made by a long-established manufacturer of Banko-Yaki in Yokkaichi, who knows all about clay pots, and cooks rice easily and deliciously. The round shape and far-infrared ray effect make the rice fluffy and delicious.

Misuzu rice cooker features

The bottom of the pot is round and spherical, just like a traditional Japanese rice cooker “hagama”. The entire pot is heated to produce fluffy, delicious rice just like that cooked in a traditional “hagama” rice oven. The rounded shape is a cute design that looks great on the dining table.

Compact size and weight suitable for daily use. It can be stored in the refrigerator as is. It can also be used for cooking soups and other dishes.

The use of heat-resistant clay makes it possible to use microwave ovens and ovens.

The rice cooker retains moisture and regulates moisture well, so it preserves the taste better than electric rice cookers or plastic containers.

The secret to deliciousness

Good convection

Because the entire surface is heated, the rice moves well and cooks evenly. The rice becomes fluffy and tasty.

Heats evenly

When cooking rice, it is important to distribute heat evenly to the rice. By heating the entire outside of the round pot, heat is evenly transferred to the rice.

Good temperature change

Maintaining a high temperature of 90°C to 100°C from boiling to the end of steaming breaks down the starch in the rice and converts it into sugar, resulting in a sweet and fluffy finish. Misuzu gohan pots are designed with the perfect pot thickness so that the residual heat effect maintains the high temperature even after the heat is turned off.
